​Who We Are

VKids Trust Uganda, a Christian charity, has been making a positive impact on the Island of Kalangala and surrounding communities since 2009. Operating in four districts in Uganda, including Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi, and Kalangala, this registered non-governmental organization is dedicated to grassroots development. Initially focusing on Kalangala District, which encompasses the Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria,VKids Trust Uganda continues to work tirelessly to fulfill its mission

Why Kalangala District?

Among the four districts, Kalangala is less developed and has a higher rate of under privileged people, especially children. We believe that every child has a right to a quality and comfortable life.

Children on these Islands lack access to basic resources, such as nutrition, hygiene, healthcare, education information and safe shelter.
