VKids Trust Uganda is blessed to have Pastor Derek, who brings a wealth of experience from his years working in construction in the United States. With his skills and passion, he has built a dedicated team of four helpers, including two masons, a carpenter, and a painter, who work with us full-time. Together, they provide valuable plumbing, construction, and painting skills to the community. This initiative has not only empowered the youth in our community with practical skills but has also allowed VKids to give back meaningfully. Our team has been instrumental in the renovation and construction of churches and houses for the elderly. They also ensure the routine maintenance of safe, clean water for our village, Mweena. Through this work, we continue to uplift and transform lives, building a stronger and more self-sufficient community.
